Ultrasonic sewing machine core as the core components of ultrasonic sewing machineequipment system, it mainly consists of by ultrasonic drive power and ultrasonic vibrationequipment. The application principle of the Ultrasonic sewing machine core is similar to theultrasonic welding, the high frequency and high intensity vibration direct effect on the pressedfabric will quickly generate a lot of heat, which will cause the phenomenon of hot melt appearancebetween the fabric and then bonded together to complete the stitching of the fabric. For the case,this paper will be carry out the related research and design about the ultrasonic sewing machinecore.The studied ultrasonic vibration equipment is mainly composed by the piezoelectric transducer,exponential horn and tool head. And author analyses the characteristics of the piezoelectrictransducer. In this paper, the ultrasonic drive power which is designed by author belongs to theintelligent CNC. The hardware aspect, the master chip is STMicroelectronics (ST) produced bySTM32F103MCU that maximum clock system is72MHz and meet the application requirements.Two PWM waves of the output respectively drive two IGBT of the half-bridge inverter circuit. Thehigh frequency signal which is output from the half-bridge inverter circuit through the matchingcircuit will obtain a high frequency and high voltage signal, which will be directly input to thetransducer of ultrasonic vibration equipment. The main control chip is through the DA output tocontrol the duty ratio of PWM wave, and then realize the control of the output amplitude ofvibration equipment. The software aspect, author use a variety of software control algorithms torealize the auto find frequency, adaptive frequency tracking and amplitude control and so on. Inaddition, the ultrasonic drive power has also increased the protection mechanisms, human-computerinteraction mechanisms and external CAN bus communication. According to the CAN buscommunication rules of the ultrasonic sewing machine system, the author defined the CANapplication layer protocol of ultrasonic drive power, it realized the data exchange betweenultrasonic drive power and main controller of the ultrasonic sewing machine system.This paper by comparing the no-load test results of ultrasonic sewing machine core proved thatultrasonic drive power meet the requirements of hardware design and software design. At the sametime, the application effect test showed that the ultrasonic sewing machine has the function ofembossing, suture etc. It can be applied to different occasions, and meet the different needs ofcustomers. Compared with the traditional sewing machine, ultrasonic sewing machine has thestitching speed, simple operation, good sealing performance, beautiful appearance and so on.
