Information technology is affecting and changing the lifestyle. In catering, people tend to order food on catering websites more frequently. However, there exist many problems with most catering websites in terms of usability. The site framework is relatively complex, the operating procedures are cumbersome, and the information conveyed is unclear. Not only did these problems bring inconvenience to the users, but also have a negative impact on the site construction and development. To solve these problems, one effective way is to take in-depth analysis on the user experience to improve the experience process of the site. Based on the theory of usability, this paper will analyse and research comprehensively on the website function structure exposed to the users, the user operating process, and the interactions conducted by the users, as well as understand the user behavior characteristics and specific needs when using the site. These will help to explore the user interaction model and design methods of such sites, to do some useful attempts to promote the development of catering websites and improve the customer services.
