Nowadays, e-commerce has brought new opportunities and challenges to the agricultural products sales, while cloud computing has pioneered a new phase for the e-commerce. Based on the background of cloud computing and e-commerce of agricultural products, this article gives detailed theory analysis of cloud computing, including the concept, service pattern, the architecture, the core technology of cloud computing and its application in e-commerce, etc. The disadvantages that large-scale data can’ t be processed timely in conventional e-commerce have been avoided effectively, through applying cloud computing to the data analysis and processing in e-commerce platform of agricultural products, due to the advantages of data storage and processing by cloud computing. Meanwhile, combining its characteristics and advantages, the cloud computing is applied to the condition of agricultural products e-commerce to establish new business pattern, in view of the problems of agricultural products in e-commerce development. The demand of agricultural products e-commerce platform based on cloud computing has been analyzed thoroughly from several aspects, consisting of the main functions module, module demand and design of client page, etc.In the specific experimental work, the pseudo-distributed mode of Hadoop was used to configure the condition of cloud computingt, after which the client was designed based on PC with a concise and generous page and basic function of e-commerce transactions, to complete the payment by integration of third-party payment system. Afterwards, the data produced by PC was stored in cloud server, and highly-search key phrases along with merchandise sales ranking were generated by the superiority of cloud computing in data processing. As a consequence, according to the operation and results, a desirable interaction function was achieved in as-designed system client and server of agricultural products e-commerce, which can sort and process the data in accordance with the expected goal in an efficient, rapid and accurate way.
