The Design And Implementation Of Campus Assistant System

In recent years, with the rapid development of Chinese University, more and more overseas students come to china. They promote culture exchange as a messenger. However, due to differences in language and customs, there are some difficulties for them to adapt to a new life. For example, they may be not know about the climate of the school; not familiar with the surroundings, easy to get lost. The failure of the acculturation will fail the study of the overseas students, postpone graduation or withdrawal. So, there are important for helping overseas students to adjust to school life quickly.Besides, with the development of mobile Internet technology, smart phones and other mobile devices have a profound impact on people’s daily lives. There is a trend of smart phones between college students. At the same time they have a higher information needs and a higher curiosity about the new technologies. The lives of college students are closely related to mobile phones. Therefore, this paper is prepared to develop a mobile application to help students adjust to school life.The main works of this paper are the following section. Firstly, we have some needs analysis on the overseas students to determine four functional modules:school life module, weather forecast module, map service module and schedule service module; secondly, this paper has a detailed introduction for all kinds of techniques which the system used. Then, the system is implemented and tested. At last, this paper analyzes the disadvantage of the system and makes a prospect.
