Photographic function has been widely used as an affiliated function to a mobile phone. However, the quality of an image may be interfered by kinds of noise jamming while image generation and transmission. Wavelet transform theory has approached perfection. All the information of an image will be obtained and processed. It is widely used in image denoise processing. Currently, wavelet denoising is not applied in phone image denoising.Firstly, the imaging principle of CMOS in mobile phones is analyzed in this paper. Common noise in image of mobile phone is introduced, such as temporal noise, KTC noise, and so on. Kinds of ways to restrain noise are described. Then simulation environment is built on computer. Orthogonal wavelet transform and soft threshold method are applied to denoise in image based on BREW platform, and it is compiled and run on VC. Finally, mobile phone simulator is used to compare the images between pre-and post denoise. The simulations reveal that which show significant. It is shown that wavelet noise reduction method could be realized in cellphones, an significant result to improve mobile phone image resolution.
