At present, for the engineering applications, angle estimation using radar array can be used to reduce the noise of radar signals. Now the method of processing existing noise reduction for received data, using the average method to minimize the influence of noise, is only a precedure of finding the covariance of useful signal and the noise. Moreover, in the actual environment, the statistical properties of the noise can not always be unbiased and uncorrelated, so a simple method of using the average value is difficult to eliminate the influence of noise. At the same time, the received noise array radar is not simply white noise. The external interference in the electronic circuitry and the complex effects of noise mixing in the received radar noise in the data array will be different in each band. The overall model should be as specific colored noise is superimposed. Therefore, with the influence of a complex reality, the noise of radar array received data greatly increases the difficulty of noise decrese. The method of average value for the array signal noise reduction is no longer applicable. Based on the reality above, some other methods is needed to study for the noise reduction.Based on wavelet analysis theory, and the wave equation model, processing the signal in hase space instead of spatial space is significant in this thesis. The theoretical analysis hows that in the phase space the structure of wave propagation is better than the spatial pace. So we can use wave packet wavelet transform to achieve the transform between hase space and frequency domains.Meanwhile, combining with the wavelet transform in phase space representation model, this paper proposes a phase space optimization algorithm to achieve the phase space corresponding closely with the frequency domain. This method presents a new noise reduction optimized algorithm in phase space, and the realization of array signal processing for noise reduction. Compared with traditional noise reduction method by the simulation and experiments, it conveys that the proposed method has a better capability of noise reduction. Meanwhile, it can also be adapted for a variety of different types of array signal noise impacts.
