Micro-droplet jetting as new micro-droplet distribution technology, which developed from ink-jet printing technology, has high value on industrial product manufacturing. Meantime, with technology developing, the arrange micro-droplet jetting application is expanding, not only in traditional ink-jet printing technology, but also in flat panel display, microelectronics manufacturing, microelectronics packaging, 3D printing, drug delivery, biomedical engineering.First, paper analyzes the theoretical principle of the mechanism of micro-droplet jetting, then according to the mechanism of micro-droplet jetting, proposing the system design scheme of the micro-droplet jetting experimental platform. The experimental platform include a squeeze mode piezoelectric micro-droplet injector, high speed image system with CCD cameral and LED light source, the control system of the micro-droplet jetting experimental platform and the system’s control core is FPGA. The control system also includes two parts: the micro-droplet injector driving signal generating system, and the stroboscopic imaging system. Direct Digital frequency Synthesis(DDS) is used in the micro-droplet injector driving signal generating system and its advantage and disadvantage is analyzed.Then paper designed the circuit and software of the micro-droplet jetting control system. The RS232 serial communication is used for communicating with PC, which can pass a lot of parameter for the micro-droplet jetting control system. Meantime, the micro-droplet jetting control system will output the micro-droplet injector driving signal, the control signal of LED light source and the trigger signal of CCD cameral.At last, paper analyzed the test result of the micro-droplet jetting control system and the micro-droplet jetting experimental platform. According to the data error, paper compensated the output signal of the micro-droplet jetting control system. Then experiment is tested on micro-droplet jetting experimental platform and completed consistency analysis and mechanism verification.
