The physical health of adolescent students has shown a declining trend in recent years in China. It is a significant method to improve their physical health by monitoring and analyzing physical activity status of adolescent students effectively, and giving appropriate and timely intervention to them accordingly. Currently, there are few researchs on large-scale monitoring and analysis of physicial activity of adolescent students in domestic and abroad. Therefore, analyzing and researching the activity data of students based on big data technology and discovering valuable information through the analysis have theoretical significance and great practical value.Base on this background, the research team proposes a mass-oriented activity health monitoring solution to monitor and analysis the physical activity for large-scale student groups. In addition, the work of this thesis is a significant part of the solution. The main research content includes the following aspects:(1) The mass-oriented activity health monitoring solution by the research team is summarized. The structure and function of this solution are introduced, which include five parts, named wearable smart terminal, wireless base station, online monitoring and management platform, motion analysis services platform and smartphone App.(2) Combining with data processing algorithms and transformation algorithms, all kinds of physical activity data collected by wearable smart terminal will be quantified. After a brief introduction on the theory of large data, physical activity analysis methods based on big data from the perspective of individuals and groups are presented respectively.(3) Integrating with physical activity analysis methods above, this thesis uses Hadoop open source framework to design and implement motion analysis services platform. This platform performs distributed processing and analysis on massive physical activity data of individuals and groups respectively and gets corresponding results of all kinds data analysis finally.(4) An Android App is developed to offer convenient query and manage operations including motion records query for individuals and groups, motion data statistics, member management, wireless base station management, motion data synchronism and so forth.The thesis carrys on the experiments on the basis of implementation in the research above. The results demonstate that the solution can montior the users’ physical activitives effectively and give them objective feedback and evaluation. Eventually, the overall system achieves the expectation.
