Web-based Metabolomics Database Software Design And Implementation

With the development of metabolomics Detection Technology, how to manage large amount of metabolomics data has becoming an important issue in metabolomics research area. With the requirement of Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, we design and implement a database system to manage such metabolomics data. First, we deeply study metabolomics web site architecture, present our software architecture design base on novel layer idea, and discuss its functionalities in each layer. Second, for security problems which the site maybe occur, for example SQL injection, cross-site scripting, Exceed Authority Access and so on,we give our solutions based on code-writing, structure design and website management. Third, we show our web report design technology based on HTML5. Fourth, we design and implement a metabolomics prototype website based on discussions in this paper, discuss its architecture and functions. Finally, we give our conclusion and summary.
