Reverberation chamber(RC) has developed rapidly in recent years as a testing technology. Because it has the outstanding advantages in the electromagnetic compatibility testing technology such as low cost、 high field strength,the radiation emission and radiation immunity, much attention has been paid to the shielding effectiveness of electromagnetic compatibility.In recent years, with the continuous improvement of computer performance and development of numerical theory, great progress has been made in computational electromagnetics.Among them, the finite difference time domain method with some very prominent advantages, has been more and more widely attention and application.Based on these features, this paper uses the finite difference time domain method of reverberation chamber numerical modeling and simulation, and according to the calculation results to analyze reverberation chamber performance prediction.This paper first introduces the reverberation chamber is the research background, significance and the research trend of reverberation chamber both at home and abroad and using electromagnetic algorithm;Then introduces the basic concepts and characteristics of mathematical modeling and simulation, based on the characteristic of the reverberation chamber and the numerical method of feature selection for reverberation chamber to study electromagnetic algorithm- finite difference time domain method. Then it introduce the relevant theories of reverberation chamber, basically have: reverberation chamber of the electromagnetic field theory, the evaluation of the performance parameters of reverberation chamber and statistical theory of reverberation chamber. Finally the modeling and simulation of reverberation chamber, according to the simulation results of reverberation chamber for performance evaluation.The focus of this papers is based on the finite difference time domain method of reverberation chamber modeling and simulation and performance analysis. Modeling includes the cavity modeling, antenna modeling and modeling of agitator. By way of analyzing the FDTD program compiled in MATLAB platform cavity indoor first eigen mode of the electric field distribution; Reverberation indoor antenna type and location of the different influence on electric field distribution; Reverberation chamber mixing different perspectives and different frequency influence on electric field uniformity, and to forecast the result analysis.Electromagnetic field based on reverberation chamber FDTD simulation results, the SVD technology analysis, the modal structure of the reverberation chamber.The experiment and construction of reverberation chamber has practical guidance value.
