Reverberation chambers is the standard test site of the radiation emission and radiation immunity experiment, and the RC has been the most important test site in EMC. It proposes the methods to test antenna parameters in a RC bases on the theory of the RC test in this text. The parameters of the antenna in research include the efficiency of ?, the gain of G or the directionality of D.The main contents and conclusions of this paper are:1) Based on the basic theory of the reverberation chamber, the uniform characteristic of the field in reverberation chamber is demonstrated, and the formula for calculating the Q of the reverberation chamber in the frequency domain is deduced.2) The characteristics of the frequency domain method and time domain method testing the Q value are compared, and it focuses on the relationship between the curves testing in the time-domain and the stirrer positions, the types of antenna. The conclusion is the Q value is independence with them. The Q value from 0.6 to 18GHz have been tested by the time domain method.3) The manner of testing the efficiency of antennas in a RC has been induced based on the premise of the Q has been obtained from the time-domain test. The actual test of efficiency of 3 types of antennas has been performed and the differences between the results have been diagnosed.4) The uncertainty of S21 measurement has been analyzed in the reverberation chamber by comparison with the actual test results.5) The Friss Formula is deduced in the text and the gains of the antennas have been tested in the AC. The effects of the statistical uniform field and the reflected wave in RC to the antenna directivity are analyzed and verified by actual testing.6) The IL of the antenna in free space is measured by the vector superposition in RC. The vector superposition isolates the LOS component among the multipath components. Based on the IL, the gain of the antenna is calculated by the Friss Formula. The results testing in AC and TC are compared, the reasons are analyzed between the similarities and differences of the two results.During the testing in RC, it should be noted:to illustrate the universality, different antennas using different polarization and testing bands staggered to avoid duplication verification, using 3 positions in the RC at last to improve the test accuracy.
