Currently, the video service has gradually become the main form of modern business communications and broadcasting services. The new media technology is emerging in recent years such related businesses, collectively, can be said that the lack of new media platforms and video services almost no space for business development and market vitality. Since the digital video service based new media technology has been a hot issue in telecommunications, networking and broadcasting service providers and various business applications, the corresponding business development is the integration of form and the most promising emerging businesses. This paper mainly studies the solutions for the digital video services based on the new media technologies.First, the thesis introduces the existing common digital video technology and business types, and analyzes its technical features and business applications. The applications used by different digital video compression standards for different scenarios, including MPEG-2, H.264, H.265, AVS with their performance features are summarized. Then, for a typical application type of new media technologies, combined with existing mainstream digital video platforms’ requirements and configurations, several new solutions including scheme architecture and platform design strategies are presented. Furthermore, by integrating the latest triple play, multi-screen interactive, 4K TV, 3D naked eye and other emerging digital video applications, we propose the corresponding digital video business solutions based on the Internet technology. Finally, the development trends of the new media technologies of digital video business and technical requirements, key issues and technical points are discussed.
