This paper studies the analysis of reflector antenna. Using the method of physical optics based on reflector surface current integration, the thesis analyzes offset scanning characteristics, focal field characteristics and array feeds compensation characteristics of a single offset parabolic reflector. Then simulates the improvement of the scanning characteristics and broadening the range of scanning, using the structure of a multi-focal reflector antenna.First, the background of the development, the geometric characteristics and the basic electric parameters of the reflector antenna are introduced simply. The method of the physical optic based on the surface current integration is used to analyze the characteristics of the reflector antenna.Secondly, the far-field radiation characteristics, offset beam scanning characteristics and focal field characteristics of the single offset parabolic reflector antenna is simulated. To improving the decline of radiation performance caused by the offset feed, we import the array feed to improve the radiation characteristics and the scanning characteristics, using CFM method and RGA method to calculate the array feed unit.Finally, adopts the structure of a multi focal reflector antenna, simulates and analyzes the scanning characteristics of partial focal double focus, five focal and multifocal reflector antenna, got the conclusion of improvement of scanning characteristics and broadening the scanning range. Then analyzes the effect of the focal length weighted coefficient and basic reflection surface stack coefficient on the scanning characteristic of multi-focal reflector.
