The research of this paper is derived from the scientific subject "the research of HF frequency selection and link establishment system". In order to test and evaluate the system indoor, the multi-channel High Frequecy integrated simulating equipment software based on WinCE is designed previously. After the actual tests indoor, the real-time performance of the solution based on WinCE cannot meet the requirements. System delay leads to the problem that the device cannot adapt to the high-speed data transmission, therefore, a new HF integrated simulating system need to be designed. ARM Cortex M3 processor is usually applied to the system with relatively high real-time requirements, thus, the HF integrated simulator based on ARM is put forward. This paper makes systematic research on this HF integrated simulator based on ARM, and the main researching results are as follows:1. This paper makes an analysis on the feasibility of the HF integrated simulator equipment program based on ARM. Combining the designing requirements of the simulation equipment, the paper presents multi-channel designing scheme based on WinCE and analyzes the application scope of this solution.Through the actual tests, the limitation of the program based on WinCE is been verified, therefore, we analyze the possibility of implementation in detail according to the ARM Cortex M3’s existing hardware resources, which leads to the bare computer development program based on ARM.2. This paper makes a research on the designing project of the HF integrated simulator equipment based on ARM. Combining the designing requirements of the simulation equipment and the hardware resources of ARM Cortex M3, the frame of hardware and software of project based on ARM has been designed. According to the desired function of the simulator equipment, all parts of the software have been designed, including parameter setting and initialization part, sending and receiving serial and interacting instructions part, channel controlling part. On the basis of the designing project of the hardware’s and software’s module, the paper also introduces the used key technologies.3. This paper makes a research on the software implementation of the HF integrated simulator equipment based on ARM. Combining the designing program based on ARM, the paper realizes the hard-core part, namely, the channel controlling part of the program ultimately, including Channel on-off controlling part, additional audio noise part and PTT responding part. Eventually, we adopts some experiment means such as channel on-off testing, noise ouput testing and sampling testing to test the rationality and logicality of the equipment, and the measured results verifies the feasibility and effectiveness of the channel simulation function of the program based on ARM.
