In modern communication system, more than 50% of total cost ofcommunication system is channel cost. So research of improving communicationchannel utilization efficiency plays an important role in communication area. Ascommunicating technique developing rapidly, information increasing, and frequencyresource limit, more and more attention focus on how to improve channel utilizationefficiency. Shared multichannel technique is effective to improve channel utilizationefficiency. Theories, design and applications of shared multichannel system forlimited users are studied in this thesis.With the theory of stochastics, the theories of shared multichannel system forlimited users are studied and analyzed visually, and its call congestion formula andchannel utilization efficiency formula are deduced. And upon analyzing andcomparing both formulas between shared multichannel systems for limited andunlimited users by MATLAB, we get that call congestion formula and channelutilization efficiency formula for shared multichannel system for unlimited users aresuitable for shared system for unlimited users whose amount of users is very large andmore larger than the amount of shared channels, and both formulas for sharedmultichannel system for limited users are suitable for shared system for limited userswhich has small amount of users and traffic offered.Using the data analysis, matrix and figure processing functions of MATLAB, theoptimization configuration methods of both shared multichannel systems for limitedand unlimited users are studied, optimization configuration methods of both systemsin different cases are put forward, and the according flow charts are given.The Monte-Carlo simulation for shared multichannel system for limited users areproposed and implemented. And the error control method of output data is analyzedtheoretically. The simulation results prove that the correctness of deduced callcongestion formula and channel utilization efficiency formula for shared multichannelsystem and the reliability of optimization configuration scheme. And the systemrunning dynamic process is reflected concretely. The simulation program itselfprovides approximate calculating methods and error analyses for call congestion,channel utilization efficiency and system status probability. So, another convenientand effective system optimization configuration method is obtained. It can fullyreflect system dynamic running status.Using shared multichannel technique for limited users, shared multichannelphone expander for limited users is developed. With the optimization configurationmethod of shared multichannel system for limited users, the configuration scheme ofnumber of channel for phone channel expander is given. And the call loss of expandedusers after inner communicating function is increased is analyzed.With shared multichannel technique, the non-central switching amplifying calland communication system is developed. And explosion-proof channel is configuredoptimally by optimization configuration methods of shared multichannel system forlimited users.
