With the development of mobile Internet and mobile wireless communications, we need more fast transmit speed, the emergence of a new generation communication system is an inevitable trend, developed by 3GPP TD-LTE(Time Division Long Term Evolution) is one of widely used to 4G communication technology. Before apply LTE communication technology on chip production, we need authentication the algorithm in protocol. There are many ways to authentication algorithm, but due to the advantages of virtual instrument, such as lower cost, showing good results, easy to debugging, we use the virtual instrument to verify the communication protocol algorithm. In this paper, based on virtual instrument built a communications system into vector signal transmitter and receiver, the core of this paper is the research of the channel and resource mapping algorithm. We first introduce the history of LTE mobile wireless communications, then introduce the basic concepts of programming tools, LabVIEW, and virtual instrument, and then describe in detail about 3GPP36.211 physical layer communication protocol for the downlink resource mapping algorithm. At the same time, we describe the resource mapping design methods for each channel based on programming tools. At the last, the program has been tested to ensure the reliability of each module.Virtual Instruments has the features such as low maintenance costs, technology refresh cycle is short, openness and can use repeatability. The design module in this paper can be verified directly on the platform virtual instrument to ensure the development of the module reliable and in a subsequent technical update, the module need not to be modified, reduce time greatly.
