In this paper, based on electromagnetic theory, it analyzes protective mechanism of electromagnetic shielding clothing, which summarizes the common effects on shielding effectiveness of electromagnetic shielding clothes; It adopts shielded anechoic chamber method to determinate shielding effectiveness of electromagnetic shielding clothes, and analyzes the results to obtain significant value of each factor, for establishing multiple linear regression model of shielding effectiveness of electromagnetic shielding clothing.This thesis has the following aspects:(1) By understanding and study of the electromagnetic properties and electromagnetic radiation on the human body, summaring and analysising protective mechanism of electromagnetic shielding clothing: reflex mechanism, absorption mechanism and multiple reflections mechanism, then presenting the main factors affecting shielding effectiveness of electromagnetic shielding clothing: holes, cracks and levels.(2) Based on the above factors, for shortcomings that people mostly make fabrics’ shielding effectiveness instead of clothing’s, it proposes combining fabric shielding effectiveness with clothing shielding effectiveness. It starts with selection of electromagnetic shielding fabric, garment design, crafts combined with human characteristics and garment construction to design electromagnetic shielding clothes, in order to determine clothing styles of this article-collarless T-shirts with oblique long sleeves.(3) This paper selects three kinds of fabrics: silver fiber radiation fabric, metal fibre radiation fabric and metallized radiation fabric. Through analysis, shielding effectivenessof fabric is conductive in addition to properties of the fabric itself, but also to its cracks,holes and levels. The shielding effectiveness of the fabric is mainly influenced by its own hole and gap size, and performances closely relating to slits and holes mainly have air permeability, moisture permeability, warp and weft density and thickness, so this paper mearsures these performance. Then it uses factor analysis to identify the significant level of affecting factors. Through charts and factor analysis of SPSS, it obtains that warp density significantly associated with shielding effectiveness of fabric, the moisture permeability, surface specific resistance and thickness are highly relevant, the weft density is moderate, and breathable is irrelevant.(4) By analyzing and comparing, factors ultimately selected in this article are frequency of radiation, fabric, collar’s size, number of needle, pitch, seam and washing times. By orthogonal experimental design, combining correlation analysis, it determines factors affecting front and side shielding effectiveness, front: electromagnetic frequency shielding effectiveness fabric, collar size and the number of washing; side:electromagnetic frequencies, fabric shielding effectiveness, pitch and the number of washes. And then uses multiple regression analysis to establish the regression model, then validates and corrects the regression model, and draws the corresponding regression model,positive:SE=29.521-0.001?+0.019SEm-0.059s-0.13t;side:SE=24.289-0.001?+0.146SEm-0.63?-0.029 t. It provides some theoretical guidance for the design and application of electromagnetic shielding clothing.
