Transformation Of The Traditional Job Management System Based On Android Platform

Management information system plays a vital role in improving the operational efficiency of modern enterprises. Recent decades have seen widespread application of traditional management information systems running on desktop PCs. In recent years, with unprecedented popularity of smart phones and tablets, mobile Internet is gaining rapid development; many applications based on traditional PC business are quickly being transferred onto mobile terminals, thanks to their convenience and availability. This paper tries to upgrade and reform traditional job management systems with mobile terminals, making information management more close to workshop sites, employees and administrators, further improving management efficiency.With actual enterprise demand and knowledge of traditional job management systems in mind, this paper has developed a new mobile job management system based on the Android platform. Functions on desktop PCs are transferred to mobile terminals, and some new mobile terminal specific functions are added. The paper uses the SQL Server 2008 database to realize data binding and compatibility between different system versions. at the same time the data to be transmitted need to be object-oriented, after that,Json encapsulation convert an object into JsonString format that transmit on the network.Backend server or client transmit the JsonString format information back into an object, then the data service processing.The mobile operation management system in this paper is consisted of can be divided into administrators and ordinary employees as to the identity of the client and backend server. Main modules include login module, running receipt management, information maintenance and working hours statistics module, corresponding to the management system module running on PC, and barcode scanning module, scrap photos uploading modules. Announcement notification module is a bonus function with the help of a mobile terminal. With the help of the mobile job management system, on the one hand, employees can quickly see the latest notice, working hours statistics, etc. On the other hand, managers can access the traditional database to carry out management operations, which displays staffs directly on the phone, further improves the paperless degree of offices.
