Wireless Mesh network (WMN) is a new type of broadband wireless network,which is distributed wireless network,, and it is completely different, from a traditional wireless network of new large capacity and high speed. As an important technology, load balancing can improve the throughput and QoS performance in WMNs, and becomes one of the hot issues in the research of WMNs. In the architecture of WMNs, wireless backbone is the key point in WMNs, and has much impact on the network performance. Since wireless backbone is made up of gateways and mesh routers, the load balancing technology should be considered from the blancing of loads on the gateways. Usually gateway node number is less, the smaller the deployment costs. But, in the wireless Mesh network gateway device with performance differences the fee of accessing Internet is distinct, therefore the gateway deployment number is at least, and it is not necessarily the gateway deployment cost is minimum. Therefore, this article from the angle of the deployment cost optimization researches on the gateway deployment algorithm for load balancing. To the first one, we pay attention to the gateway deployment technologies in network design,, Under the condition of guarantee the QoS constraints, the GM-EA clustering algorithm and the network of greedy algorithm combining D_GA algorithm, in order to realize under the less number of iterations to get gateway load balancing cost optimization deployment scheme. Simulation results show that the D_GA algorithm in order to increase the execution time under at the expense of the cost of the result of better than other algorithm.
