3D reconstruction based on three views has became an important research direction in computer graphics and CAD/CAM fields. As an important step to rebuid the 3D objects,cross-platform conversion and display of three views has an impact on whether primitives in different views can be recognised and matched accurately.A series of methods of information extraction and cross-platform display based on three views are presented in this paper. The contributions are as follows:1.On reading primitive data of three views,DXF file essential structrue and storing format is thoroughly analyzed and researched. The methods of recongnising entities section and reading its primitive data are giving and all primitive data structures are designed.2.On three views separation and coordinate transformation,a traditional angle criterion-based approach,a coordinate axis projection-based approach and a box-based approach are introduced for views separation, and at last,a scan line translation-based approach is proposed, which first confirm best starting positions of two scan lines to lower scan times and improve the efficiency.A 3D space projection coordinate system is build.By introducing view coordinate system, the original coordinate is translated indirectly to 3D space projection coordinate and the translation method and transformational matrix are giving.3.The window is divided into four areas.Figures in front view, top view and left view are showed in corresponding areas according to the structure of three views by combining VC++6.0 and Open GL programming languages. To make a summery, the methods of data reading and display of engineering standard three views based on DXF file is proposed in this paper. The primitive data has been successfully extracted and completely showed.
