Design And Implement Of Software For Police Use Based On The Android Operating System

With the soaring modernization development of cities,the requirements for public securi ty system are rising more and more increasingly. The rapid progression of mobile device s make it possible to provide solutions for security system by using mobile devices. This thesis addresses this kind of solutions by designing and further developing of the mobil e police software, based on mobile Android operating system.Firstly the features Android platform are introduced, the architecture of Android platfor m is analyzed, the components with regard to Android developing are described. The go als and functions of the system are acknowledged by analysis of business requirement. Based on the analysis to usage, performance and functions, the module of system and co rresponding realization are determined. Through the analysis of the database, table entries and management contained in the database are designed. System server and client-side architecture are designed. And the five core modules are designed and implemented in the Android terminal, which are user management module, GPS positioning module, information transmission module, the information input module, the map display module. Completed user login, user registration verification, the acquisition of GPS positioning information, the storage of GPS positioning information, communication management and implementation, transmission of files and character stream, take pictures, record video, audio and display geographic information of users on the map. Each module of software function was tested and the whole thesis is summarized and prospect in the end of this paper.
