Motion control is a branch of automation, which is generally referred to the use of some of the equipment such as the servo pump, a linear actuator or the servo motor to control the position or speed of the machine.Driven by technologyl progress, the scale, productivity and automation of industrial production has been rapid increased. In all walks of life, the motion control technology plays an irreplaceable role in the high-end of the motion controller. Therefore, the design of a good performance motion control system is more and more important.Motion control technology plays an important role in the field of manufacturing. Its development will greatly enhance the overall level of modern manufacturing. With the development of science and technology, motion controllers are widely used in printing, CNC, machining and other industries. Meanwhile, the control systems become more and more complex, to describe a system not only need multiple variables, but also need simultaneously control multiple variables. Therefore, the study of motion control systems, to design a multi-function, ease of use, high reliability motion controller plays a vital role in enhancing the level of automation of our country.This thesis is based on making in-depth studying of motion control on the current state of development at home and abroad. Designed a set of good performence motion controller based on ZYNQ which is dual-core ARM and FPGA architecture. Dual-core respectively perform different types of tasks, FPGA is responsible of the algorithm. The controller has the advantage of stability, reliability and rapidity. The controller has the function of generated and display motion control trajectory, interactive interface and communicate with the host. The controller has the features of powerful, comprehensive interface, rich algorithm, easy to use, fast response time, and accuracy. This thesis discusses the hardware design and software design of the motion controller, and a detailed test, and finally through concrete examples to show that the controller in real life applications process.
