The EDI system in container shipping line enterprise is a bridge which interact with external information systems, sharing resources and avoid the system becomes the information silos. However, due to the different, formations of the EDI messages for every company and the different channels the governments, inter-enterprise EDI transceiver connect by, it’s very difficult to construction an EDI system. So it is necessary to adopt a standard interface for the enterprise to architecture system and integrate a variety of applications systems in the enterprise. This EDI system can be used in company and also be used for external partners. In this article, EDI system through SOA which provides a standard interface, will integration with the systems deployed in the company and then it through construction by BPM concept into a business-driven and use business process as the primary means to implement it.This article analyzed with the EDI system in container shipping line enterprise, through the background and current situation at home and abroad. It demonstrates that using SOA and BPM concepts in EDI system is feasibility and then analyzed the system used with SOA, BPM and BPEL applications; combined with the actual business needs of the enterprise, the system do a needs analysis and overall system design; EDI systems are designed for a specific module for implementation, and business process module as the focus of the content of this Implement; Finally this EDI systems completed customs declaration business case as the application has been described in this article, and the operation and performance were analyzed.The EDI systems designed in this article, based on SOA and BPM concepts using a combination of architecture, using Business Process Execution Language (BPEL) as a means of achieving BPM can solve container shipping line company in the growing volume of business and the large amount of data in the background, using the popular EDI message conversion system, information exchange systems integration and development, to achieve fast, accurate to generate and send EDI message types, not only to meet native EDI business needs, but also to meet the complex within a short time of each foreign EDI business development needs.In the trial EDI systems of the customs environment to implement most of the functions of the customs operations and stable operation, handling EUR24 business running in good condition, and the processing performance conditions meet customs requirements and it meet business-growth requirements within the next few years. In the aspect of the EDI system’s prospects, the system can be used in the enterprise and opens to other partner enterprises demand declaration for hire, which can not only improve system utilization, but also to increase revenue, and improve their international image for the container shipping line company.
