With the rapid development of China’ s securities industry, the constant progress of the pace of financial innovation and market-oriented process, the constant increase of transaction types, business types and market size, the high-speed information technology within the whole industry undoubtedly played a positive promoting role during this period. Although the operators actively invested in the field of business software, there is still a general lack of business data protection mechanisms in the event of system failure or disaster. The protection mechanisms have achieved a comprehensive coverage in the European mature markets, while at least 70% of the business system database does not have any disaster recovery measures in Chinese securities industry, and leads to enormous potential risks, according to a incomplete statistics. The business system database disaster recovery will be the next focus of operators’ IT construction. Especially in the background of the full attention of regulatory authorities in mandatory industry standards and implementing rules in 2011, and the proposal of the industry operators must complete all core business system’s "two cities three centers" building objectives in next three years, how to orderly and efficiently achieve the implementation of disaster recovery protection for business database will become one of the problems to be urgently solved in the healthy development of the industry. The ORACLE database has being adopted in 80% of the industry’s core business systems. Therefore it has a certain practical significance to the development of an industry-wide, efficient, economical and reliable disaster recovery system (ORACLE Disaster Recovery System, referred ODRS).Firstly, the essay provides an overview of the urgency and relevant content to construct disaster recovery system of information systems in securities industry, and a brief analysis of domestic and foreign policy research and the application; then summarized the deficiencies of the current domestic and international disaster recovery system. Secondly, an overview of the technology route for the ODRS system research is provided and references are recommended. Full packaging and rewrite "Redo Transport Services" is suggested on top of referencing Oracle official technical solution on the foundation of "Physical Logs Synchronization". Followed a discussion in the subject of how to realize wide installment of the ODRS in the securities industry themes, based on demand from regulators and operators to analysis, summed up the specific requirement on performance and function, proposed system operation structure, detail descript the reliance and realization of the core technical break through regarding to "Real-time capture the incremental logs", achieved accurate positioning of new generated data in the means of analyzing binary format in redo log blocks. The system design portion was based on a defined process and functionality in demand analysis, described, by means of diagrams, the overall framework of the system and logical structure between functional modules. In addition, the exception was discussed in detail after dividing each of the key modules of processes. The system implementation portion was based on typical application environment, provided an overview of system required hardware, software and network environment and infrastructure; logically described each key module contains sub-module function and concrete steps which to achieve levels of detailed coding; following that, described the test results that ODRS has being applied in the industry of typical business environment. Finally summarized the ODRS system features and shortcomings, and look ahead the future development of the system.
