Medium voltage vacuum circuit breaker in the power industry is the important switch equipment, has an important influence on the safety of power system, in order to guarantee its quality is usually in the process of production to quality testing, the size detection is a very important aspect of the quality testing. Medium voltage vacuum circuit breaker is the size of the traditional detection method using standard tank simulation match ark inspection way, namely the simulation of medium voltage vacuum circuit breaker in the actual installation process. This way of testing can only realize the qualitative detection, the installation process requires a lot of artificial participation, make artificial cost increase, the accuracy of the detection is also poor, and easy to wear and tear on products.In recent years, with the advancement of power grid construction, for power grid security and reliability of the switchgear is also put forward higher request, therefore, to study a rapid and accurate detection system to realize the size of the medium voltage vacuum circuit breaker is very necessary. Visual detection, detection technology using machines instead of human eyes with non-contact, high precision, fast, can work stably for a long time, can adapt to bad working environment, etc. The technology is good to solve the problems existing in the medium voltage vacuum circuit breaker test, this article studies a kind of medium voltage vacuum circuit breaker size detection based on vision detection technology system, and its application to medium pressure vacuum circuit breaker on the assembly and testing lines, successfully solves the medium voltage vacuum circuit breaker size detection problem in industrial production process.In this paper, based on the visual inspection technology to medium pressure vacuum circuit breaker as the research object, emphatically on the key technology in the process of image processing, the structure of the system design, application of various algorithms of image processing technology for the processing of the collected images are carried on the detailed research, and according to the data collected on the system performance was analyzed, and the specific work summarized as follows:First of all, the study of image preprocessing algorithm, morphological processing algorithms of image filtering algorithm and a detailed introduction, apply the algorithm to deal with to the target image collected, can reduce the influence of noise on image, improve image quality, simplify the difficulty of subsequent processing.Second, the image edge detection technology and the subpixel location technology is studied, the algorithms of image edge detection and subpixel location of comparative research, introduces the different operator’s operation process and the advantages and disadvantages of different algorithms.Third, the study of the design of the detection system, design the structure of the system, and the various parts of the hardware that make up the visual inspection system is introduced, the design of the test system of test process, and the need to detect the key dimensions are described.Finally, this paper introduces the detection system and analyze the performance of the system implementation process. HALCON image processing platform is introduced to the process of image processing, image is obtained by a series of image processing algorithms of sub-pixel edge, through acquired the subpixel edge to the center of the corresponding coordinates, finally to realize the detection of size; An introduction to the interface of detection system, it can realize image display, system status display, parameter adjustment and other functions; Combining with the field data collected on the system detection error and the system of single completion rate were analyzed, and through the analysis to verify the feasibility of the system, and the proof system has high stability.
