A review of the recent development at home and abroad of the palletizing robot, analysis shows that the future of the industry robot will be the direction of development and research priorities.Making a comprehensive introduction to the robot application industry, including its peripheral equipment, such as the production of transportation equipment, pallet conveying equipment. Illustrating the working principle of the peripheral equipment, as well as the work flow with palletizing robot.For the factory automation industry, material storage industry and high-speed palletizing requirements for cartons or bags objects,designed a four-DOF palletizing robots. Make a specific description of its various parts, such as waist rotation, arm linkage, posture holding mechanism, wrist rotation mechanism, the end of the actuator.Select a typical the end of the actuator, to explain its working principle. Introduced the arm structure, and the range of motion of the kinematics solution, using the MATLAB data analysis software, the mechanical hand for three dimension space simulation analysis, give column space diagram. To illustrate the rationality of design by comparing the theoretical data with the experimental dataSelection of cast aluminum arm, give the theoretical deduction for the structure rationality and reliability, using the ANSYS static analysis and modal analysis, obtains 6 order modal shape, and provide a reliable basis for subsequent analysis, fault structure optimization etc.Introduces the electric control principle of palletizing robot, in the form of flow chart to illustrate the motion control of robot palletizing process, and introduces its principle of work and detection by hardware.Generally by examining the trajectory of the end effector to assess the merits of the quality of a software system. By setting palletizing points as an example to illustrate the superiority of software programming and to provide guidance for subsequent software development.The design of the whole robot palletizing system has been completed, including the design of mechanical structure, electrical principle design, software system design, and the realization of the system’s motion control. This system was successfully applied in feed packaging industry because of its good operation, stable performance, convenient operation and maintenance by the majority of manufacturers.
