With the globalization of economy, the logistics industry has become an important strength to promote development of economy.In recent years, logistics business grows rapidly, the requirements of customer on distribute efficiency and service quality is also rising. While, the traditional single mode of transport can not meet the various needs in logistics market. Multimodal transport be appeared as an advanced mode of transport. With the consideration of characteristics, the various modes of transport have been combined reasonably. So we can reduce the transportation costs and improve the transport efficiency to the maximum extent. Then we promote the sound development of transportation.This thesis is based on our country current status of logistics distribution network about multimodal transport, and analysis the needs of logistics distribution. This thesis combines with some factors have been considered, such as basic characteristics of multimodal transport and organization of multimodal transport, then builds a network optimization model for the transportation costs and transport time, and designs genetic algorithms to seek the optimization program.At last, this thesis uses an example to verify practicability of the network optimization model, and.This thesis aims to establish optimization model for logistics distribution of the multimodal transport, accords reducing of the transportation costs and improvement of the transport efficiency to increase the overall efficiency, improve service levels, and enhance market competitiveness of multimodal transport industry.
