Augmented Reality systems could place and mix the virtual objects on the position in a real environment.And the virtual objects are generated by the computer visualization technology.the fusion videos of virtual objects and real environment display in the display device.A new visual impact and a special efficiency are created by Augmented Reality systems.The researches of this subject contain two aspects--tracking and registration of museum scene and real-time interaction.Augmented reality museum scene tracking and registration problem is that mainly implement far distance identify based on visual tracking and registration.Museum complex scene,the current applications of augmented reality development kit without improvement,the identification distance between camera and markers was too close,most systems not only fail to solve the problem of shelter and stability,but also the lack of interaction with the virtual scene.According to the problems of current researches,the main work of this paper are as follows:An overview of the key technologies of Augmented Reality is conducted,including display technology,tracking registration technology,the virtual-real fusion technology and real-time interaction technology,and analyzed tracking system in display of relics.Using Vuforia feature points detection method to complete the human-computer interaction system,analyzed the selecting principle of markers,the setting of virtual buttons and calculation of the virtual buttons.Translating virtual buttons’ 2D coordinate to 3D coordinate with similar algorithm.Terra Cotta Warriorrs models are imported into the computer,people touch the virtual buttons control the models by fingers,completed the interaction system. The system affected by the light strength soft and can be used to solve system instability,anti-shake of the virtual models.In order to solve the implementation of the augmented reality system defects,research on how to increase the distance between markers and camera is greater than 5m.Therefore an accurate identification is put forward.Combining ARTool Kit and Open CV,the extraction and outline of the polygon fitting algorithm and pyramid Lucas- Kanade algorithm are used to identify and track targets.The corners of the polygon target are positioned in sub-pixel resolution of the position.The polygons can be replaced with these corners which describe the goals in high precision.Using the improved hamming code to encode markers,reduce the emergenceof the false markers rate in real environment.The identified distant of system can apply in Museum scene.This paper research on the museum scene tracking and registration method in augmented reality,trying,comparison,summary and improvement for the existing methods.The experimental results show that the system can be remote recognition markers well.What’s more, real objects and virtual objects could interact with each other in real time.Our system has a great instantaneity and high display fidelity, is able to meet the requirements of general Augmented Reality applications, which forms a preliminary reference for the future research of augmented reality systems applied to the field of cultural heritage protection.
