With the development of communication technology, though the traditional TCP/IP Internet has been able to meet the requests of data transmission in a wide range, the network infrastructure in part of areas is still not that perfect, resulting in difficult to packet transmission in to-end approach. In order to achieve network connectivity, it proposes a new network architecture that DTN (Delay Tolerant Networks),it solves this problem. Taking into account the rapid development of smart phones.we propose the idea of the combination of the Android mobile terminal with DTN network to achieve efficient transmission of data.DTN is a special type of network, mainly in particular its communication environment. Due to the special nature of the communication environment, it has to tolerate delay, intermittent connectivity, asymmetric data rates, low SNR and high error rate and so on. By analyzing the contents of both DTN and Android intelligent network system benefits, proposed the idea to combine the two.This issue were developed based on the Android mobile terminal DTN2 protocol. Development process using the function of service module implements the daemon. When the daemon detecte the event running,then it take appropriate function module for processing. Finally, the Android mobile terminal as a intermediate node can accept bundle packets sent by the source node, then the received bundle packet transmission to the destination node.The project implementation process include interface design and service modules. Interface design complete the task of alternately with users. Service function module implements the operation of bundle. Such as the bundle of receiving, forwarding, storage and so on. By functional modular can easily extend functionality without changing the previous modules, improved scalability.It is an important significance of the Android mobile terminal with DTN network research. First, it can provide network communication opportunities to some network infrastructure less developed regions; Secondly, to reduce the cost of network deployment, and the large-scale use of smart phones can also increase the amount of data transmission, the issue has some practical value; Furthermore, the combination of smart phone and DTN network has a certain sense of innovation.
