At present, RFID(Radio Frequency Identification, RFID) technology has been widely applied to many fields, but with the electronic tags applied to a single grade in consumer products, and the application system of RFID has highlights a series of security and privacy problems. As people pay attention to the security and privacy problem, these problems in RFID application system will hit a bottleneck with its further development. Firstly, this paper had summarized the related literature and conducted an in-depth research of RFID application systems. The current security and privacy problems in RFID application system are discussed, and to summarize the protection strategy. Most importantly of all, mainly analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the logical method.Secondly, the author researched on the basic theory and technology were applied to this paper, including Cryptography theory and Chaos theory, the Chaos encryption technology also applied to this paper. It focuses on the Logistic map, which can generate chaotic sequence, and try to ameliorate the original algorithm. Then, the computer simulation used MATLAB software was carried on to further confirm that the improved algorithm has a wider range of parameters and the Lyapunov exponent. That is to say, it can produce more chaotic sequence, and it became more sensitive to the initial state of Chaos system.Finally, this paper introduced the DES, and it is the grouping symmetrical encryption algorithm. On the basis of original algorithm was simplified, which mainly reflected in the following aspects:1. The improved Logistic map as a chaos sequence generator, and translate the pseudo random sequences into the binary forms. After the binary forms are used to encrypt the plaintext as the round keys of encryption algorithm. The round keys are independent of each other, and they are changing all the time in the process of encryption. This system implemented “one-time pad”, the crack resistance is strengthened.2. The cycle number of DES encryption algorithm is reduced from 16 times to 4 times due to the limited resources of RFID system. The round key does not need require by the initial key, which can simplify the complexity of the encryption algorithm greatly.3. Then, the computer simulation used MATLAB software was carried on to further verify that the simplified encryption algorithm used less time and space than the original algorithm in the encryption. The utility of this method is increased and it also provides support for privacy protection of RFID system. Finally, this paper has given the theoretical analysis about the simplified DES algorithm to improve the security of RFID system.
