This essay has conducted a study on the design and application of the Point of Interface. Firstly, this essay has put forward the significance of research background and the present situation of domestic and foreign in the field of POI system. With the traditional solution of the indoor coverage, the combiners only combine several systems of the very carrier. Meanwhile, the POI has made a big breakthrough in the total system access to the public network. The application of POI has not only utilized the space loss to improve system isolation and reduce the mutual interference brought by various signals efficiently but also reduced bandwidth usage of communication system and increased the system protection bandwidth. All these have reduced the difficulties of component design and the production of the combiner, thus reducing the cost of the equipment manufacturing.Secondly, this essay has analyzed the overall plan. The downlink signal has mainly showed that the 7 signals from the base are integrated into 2 signals which come from the TX1 and TX2 to conduct the coverage. The uplink signals from the user terminals are transferred in the other direction through the RX1 and RX2 to the communication system respectively.Thirdly, this essay will analyze and design the internal module. Based on the indicators of POI items and coupler and the combiner, through applying the basic principles of the coupler, bridge and the combiner, we can get the basic forms through the table look-ups and introduce the EM field software to imitate, finally producing the goods.Fourthly, this essay will design the monitoring system. The aim of the local monitor is to monitor the power and standing wave of the POI items. This essay has combined radio frequency detection circuit and single-chip microcomputer, which can detect the data accurately and reflect the monitoring directly to reduce the cost of the telecom company.Finally, this essay has conducted an analysis on the debugging and the experiment. The up and downlink of the POI have a box respectively and adopt the bilateral installment forms. According to the test standard of the telecom company, the results are totally qualified.This essay has conducted the design of the POI and monitor researches. The modular system design is easy to expand and improve, which efficiently avoids the interference between various communication systems, thus making the communication signals stronger and clearer. The modularization of the system design has a good indicator, which can enable that the process of transmitting and collecting signals can be launched at the same time. And the POI system in this essay has a comprehensive monitor system and a simple alarm display, thus possessing a wide applicability. This system can not only be used in high buildings and underground but also in various large fields and conference centers.
