In modern life, the Internet business becomes vary from minute to minute, network stability and efficiency have been hard to meet with the needs of modern business, network flexibility becomes more and more important. In the traditional network architectures, according to the customer customized network deployment, when the business need change, the corresponding network devices, such as routers, switches, and firewalls and so on, the configuration change is a very complicated matter.Under the environment of SDN, the control plane and data plane of the network equipment has been separated, control plane is provided with a centralized Controller for manage, and separate with the network equipment, not subject to the underlying network equipment difference. Due to the openness of the Controller, the user can according to their own needs, to customize the management of network routing and transmission rules, make the business more flexible and intelligent.In this thesis, based on the routing management of existing IP network and SDN network, test the useful of the traditional IP network route switch protect the practicability of the method in the SDN environment, and use the OpenFlow protocol, realize the new routing strategies to protect, the realization of the SDN network route switch protection in Floodlight and Mininet environment.This thesis starts from the development of SDN, introduces the present situation of the research background and the domestic and foreign research, and according to the development of SDN and the OpenFlow protocol, in the Floodlight and Mininet simulation environment, for SDN network route switch protection were studied. First, the traditional network protection mode learn and realization, through the static flow table manner to achieve the exchange protection strategy is similar to the traditional network, and according to the existing SDN network Controller management processes, to achieve the exchange of routing backup protection strategy based on dynamic flow meter survival, and realized in the environment of Floodlight and Mininet. Then, according to the Controller module of Floodlight software, to study the modification module for intelligent dynamic flow meter under the hair, to perfect the exchange protection strategy of SDN network routing based on, and put forward a more in line with the reality of hybrid routing exchange protection strategy.Finally, the experimental results by analysis, according to the results of the experimental research, proposed some questions and deficiencies.
