Research And Development Of Long-Distance Pipeline Patrol System Based On Android

It is important to do a pipeline patrol work effectively for ensuring operation of the long-distance pipeline system reliably and safely. With that in mind, pipeline patrol system for long distance transmission was studied in this paper. As times change, science and technology progressed. Meanwhile, intelligent mobile phone is widely used. Intelligent phone with Android operation system has good expansibility, openness and low price, so it is possible to develop a pipeline patrol system on Android platform. Using the software of the pipeline patrol system, the problems found by pipeline patrol workers will be processed faster and better.Firstly, through access to a variety of data, a brief overview of pipeline patrol system for long distance transmission at home and abroad is given in this paper. And the information and technologies to realize the system based on Android are introduced. Secondly, according to the work content and condition of Chinese specific pipeline patrol, this paper analyses the system. Further, a design scheme of the system client and server is given. After that, part of the function of the client is tested and the test results are analyzed. Finally, this whole research work is summarized.This pipeline patrol system based on Android has the structure of C/S and uses the technology of multi thread. Many problems can be dealt currently and accurately by using the system. Besides, the system takes full use of Android mobile phone’s own modules, such as data transmission, GPS, camera, database and so on. All in all, the system has low cost, simple operation, and provides convenience for pipeline patrol, so that the quality and efficiency of patrol are improved. All these shows that the system has great application value in engineering.
