This article studies the master control system of the automatic production line maintenance vehicles based on ARCNET network and 16-bit mixed-signal processors MSP430F5336, and respectively discusses the related content of the control system on hardware design, software design, ARCNET communication network construction and communication protocol.According to the functional requirements, the main design is based on the power supply module, CPU control module, ARCNET communication module, Input and output level conversion module, I C bus expansion I/O module, bipolar stepper motor control module, etc. Firstly adopting a bottom-up method, the master control system is divided into I2 C bus expansion I/O module, including the LED display, encoder settings, and DIP switch settings, input / output module, stepper motor soft start module, ARCNET communication module, etc. Finally, using the top-down method, the master scheduler is designed to realize the scheduling of each module.ARCNET network mainly realizes communications of maintenance vehicles, vehicle fronts and the host computer. And ARCNET network communication controller uses COM20020 to implement the data link layer control. According to process characteristics organization data frame, construct the complete ARCNET network application layer, and realize ARCNET communication and control with program.The production line maintenance vehicles control system can fully meet the requirements of the system design?and also work stably and reliably. ARCNET network communication satisfies requirements of data transmission and control. The hardware and software of the maintenance vehicle control system has entered the whole vehicle alignment stage.
