In the increasingly complex air combat environment, the United States, Russia, Europe and other military power first did research on the multi-fighter coordinated combat, which makes it a newly arisen premise for the effectiveness evaluation.As the “electronic eyes” of the air combat, airborne radars can provide target information as well as the tactical decisions which are irreplaceable for the formation. Therefore, in this paper, we do the effectiveness evaluation research on airborne radars under multi-fighter coordination based on the importance of raders in the air combat and the new arisen multi-fighter coordinated technology. 1. The main research contents are as follows: studied on the concept of multi-fighter coordination, summarized the development status of multi-fighter coordination in current world’s military field and detailedly researched the key technologies of multi-fighter coordination such as cooperative detection, target tracking and recognition, data fusion and so on. 2. Briefly introduces the traditional methods of effectiveness evaluation, a fuzzy analytic hierarchy process is given after the analyses of AHP and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. In this way,we have solved the value assignment of indexes weight, quantified the qualitative index under the subjection principle, verified the rationality and effectiveness by theoretical analysis and examples,and put forward a new solution for the effectiveness evaluation. 3. Analyzed the networking mode of airborne radars under the condition of multi-fighter coordination, detailedly researched the networking capability,networking architecture and key technologies, which provided reliable evidence for the establishment of the further airborne radars effectiveness evaluation index system; Constructed the airborne radars effectiveness evaluation index system based on the establishing principle of the index system, and did the quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis for the important indexes; Built a multi-fighter coordinated radars effectiveness evaluation model, and analyzed examples by the application of fuzzy analytic hierarchy process, which proved the reliability and the accuracy. 4. Combined with the knowledge of neural network, respectively simulated the evaluation example through BP algorithm and improved BP algorithm which is combined with genetic algorithm. Compared with the traditional methods, neural network has irreplaceable advantages, but it also needs a mass of data as the simulation theoretical support. 5. In the last part of this paper, summeried the highlights and deficiencies, and put forward some suggestions to improve the follow-up subject researches.
