The Design And Implementation Of Shandong Youth University Of Political Science Student Management Information System

With the continuous development of higher education, the scale of the undergraduates has come to the maximum. The increasing number of the students has imposed a higher requirement for the student management and it seems that the normal student management could not be carried out with the original management measures. Student management information system is a set of management information system concerning every aspect of the student work as well as facing various types of user roles, which is based on the reality of the student work of Shandong Youth University of Political Science, combines student work in the daily management issues and transactional work, and adopts advanced designing ideology and developing technology.This paper adopts unified process software developing method, uses UML as analyzing and designing descriptive language, adopts J2EE structural technology, and finally realizes one integrated system including integrated management, incentive management, funding management, ideological and political management and systems management,5 parts altogether, coming to 18 management subsystems.The paper mainly illustrates the systematical developing background and the research situation of the student management information system home and abroad, establishes the system requirement model based on the actual work, lists the issues needing solution and demonstrates the main problems. In the process of system designing, firstly, the paper conducts the overall design of the system, establishing the business function design and system function design; secondly, in the part concerning detailed function design, the paper illustrates respectively the work-study management subsystem and counselor management subsystem as well as the database design; lastly, the paper analyzes and illustrates some key problems in the system implementation process.Recently, the system has been successfully operated in the student management institutions of Shandong Youth University of Political Science with good performance in the operating process, which increases the student management work efficiency as well as the level of information in the student management work.
