An Investigation And Research On The Digital Construction Of Four Central Provincial Libraries Local Special Resources

With the development of communication technology and computer technology, the library network services become more prevalent, and the construction of digital libraries has gradually expanded nationwide digital library resources has become an important part of the library’s resources. Local specialties are fine resource of information resources, and therefore regard the local characteristics of each resource library building as a focus on building digital resources. Provinces Provincial Library as a cultural information center of a province, the digital construction of its local characteristics of resources is more worthy of attention and study. This paper selects a typical representative of the significance of the four in central Provincial Library: Library of Hunan, Hubei Provincial Library, the Library of Jiangxi, Anhui Province, the library as a sample survey of local characteristics of four provincial libraries resources in a network environment construction.This paper is divided into six chapters:Chapter one describes the background, significance, content, methods, features, etc., and reviewed the current research; the second chapter introduces the concept of local characteristics and resources of the local characteristics of digital resources meaning construction; the third chapter of the local characteristics of digital resources construction of four provincial libraries of the survey, describes the general characteristics of the four provinces of the status quo and building construction; The fourth chapter analyzes based on survey data, pointing out the four provincial figure in the local characteristics of digital resources problems in construction, including site-built digital resource problems and digitization process of building management problems and issues specific analysis; The fifth chapter in the survey for the problems puts forward practical measures and proposals; Chapter VI of the work summarized in this paper, and points out the deficiencies in the study, but also for the future construction of the library resources of local characteristics are discussed.
