The Ten-day Periodical Hai Wang is the first publication by our country private enterprise called the Group of "Yong Jiu Huang", which is consisted of Jiu Da salt company, Yong Li industrial company, Huang Hai Chemical Industry Research Institute and Yong Yu salt industry company. From 1928 to 1949, ceased publication of Fan founded,21 years, Hai Wang has published many important articles and records a number of first-hand information, including records, correspondence, reports and other investigations etc. It has published numerous articles on the one hand to show the development process of the Group of "Yong Jiu Huang", on the other hand to reflect the development of China in the application of science and technology, especially chemistry promoted the progress of Chinese modern chemical industry, which also glimpsed Chinese modern enterprise and social progress. Therefore, the study in the Ten-day Periodical Hai Wang to understand the historical development and the status of the Group of "Yong Jiu Huang" is important, also helpful for expanding Chinese modern history of science, particularly the history of chemistry research.This paper discussed the important contribution of the Ten-day Periodical Hai Wang in its golden period of development (1934-1937) to spread the knowledge of applied chemistry and entrepreneurial spirit.
