A Comparative Study Of Midday News Of CTV And News In 30 Minutes Of CCTV

Midday News of Chinese Television Company is a midday news column of Taiwan Chinese Television Company, which is popular in Tai Wan, and is referred to as Midday News of CTV. News in 30 Minutes is a midday news column which is broadcast for half an hour every day at noon by the China central television channel one, and is referred to as News in 30 Minutes of CCTV. Although they both are the middy TV show and use the same language, they have obvious differences because of different media economy.In this paper, three research methods depth interview, content analysis, the network of semantic analysis are used to analyses the two programs respectively. Midday News of CTV has a rich source of news, with social news given priority to. Among them the majority are negative news reports, and the form of column is unified and fixed. In addition, the news mirror is colorful. News in 30 Minutes of CCTV pays more attention to the current politics news, and the quantity of the international news is the largest one. This TV show has diversified report ways, at the same time the formulation phenomenon in the press is obvious.Through the analysis of the two midday news, obviously differences between Midday News of CTV and News in 30 Minutes of CCTV are pointed out. Firstly, the former one focuses on principles of proximity and interest of the value of news, while the latter one emphasis on the principle of importance and significance. Secondly, in terms of news headlines, the former outstanding the point of the events, and the latter feature on the whole aspect of the news. Thirdly, in the news in timeliness, the former gives priority to the news on the morning of the day, and the latter one gives priority to the news on yesterday. Additionally, in terms of news arrangement, the former one focuses on the arrangement of the similar events, and the latter emphasis on the arrangement of one events.The combination of the differences between the two midday news leave us some meaningful thinking about the future improvement. Combined with the advantages and characteristics of Midday News of CTV, measures should be taken to improve the timeliness, proximity, news headlines and communication effect of News in 30 Minutes of CCTV.
