This thesis discusses software development of Shanghai Railway Technology Institute’s railway signal interlocking simulation management system. It focuses on discussing the system’s demand analysis, software design and programming implementation.First, it briefly introduces computer interlocking system’s technical foundation and related software engineering outlines. Then, according to typical demands of railway running schedule management, it systematically analyzes the software’s function demands. On the basis of demand analysis, it discusses this system’s software design in detail, especially focuses on discussing interlock machine simulation module, monitoring simulation module, repair machine simulation module, and human-computer interaction function’s demand analysis, software design scenario and internal processing flow. On the basis of system design, it discusses this software system’s main programming and testing. This signal interlocking simulation management system can be divided into human-computer intersection layer, signal interlocking simulation layer, signal equipment execution layer and database management layer. The thesis discusses the detailed internal main design scenarios of the above layers and summarizes the system’s development and features in the end.This system software is developed by C# and SQL Server database. It has been put into test running, and has good effect to help improve operators’operating level and grasp new signal equipments’features rapidly.
