Infrared searching and tracing target simulator could simulate dynamic infrared target in the laboratory environment.It can provide the controllable precision,low cost and repeated experimental for testing and evaluating the infrared searching and tracing target simulator.To test each performance index during development phase.Projection subsystem of optical system is an important part of the target simulator,In this paper,according to the indexes of infrared searching and tracing target simulator,a two-channel projection system is designed by ZEMAX optical design software,which based on blackbody radiation. A non-focal and a back focal systems were adopted.The optical system works during 8~12μm with a field of view of 12°,the system has an exit pupil distance of 600mm,an exit pupil diameter of 100 mm and a focal length of 230.56mm.The MTF curve of each view at 201p/mm is close to the diffraction limit,the dispersion angles are less than 0.2mrad and the distortions are less than 2% of each fied,the image quality of system is excellent.At the same time,in order to ensure the reliability of the system,the optical system athermalizates with optical passiv by introducing a diffraction optical element,the indexes are achieved.Finally, analysis of tolerance is implement for the sake of ensuring the practicabilty of processing.According to the tolerance confine,the indexes of system meet technical requirement through montecarlo analysis.
