The concept of Internet of things was first proposed in 1999, it is to link up all the items via radio frequency identification technology and other information sensor devices to the Internet, in order to realize intelligent identification and management of the network. The Internet of things, big data and cloud computing has become a trend in the development of the next generation of computers. The use of the Internet of things is not only convenient people’s life, improves the economic benefits, but also may bring new impetus to global economic development.Equipment management system as an integral part of enterprise applications, particularly in the manufacturing enterprise is very important. However, the existing enterprise equipment management system is not very successful, due to technical limitations, the development investment and selection, and the user’s improper use lead to equipment management system inefficient, and even become the decoration of some enterprises.Based on the analysis of insufficient business process mode of existing equipment management system developed for some enterprise, carried on the related theory research and system develop, according to enterprise actual usage and real demand through studying the process mode based on Internet of things and mobile technology’s influence on the existing equipment management mode, the paper put forward a method based on Internet of things and mobile technology to optimize the business process mode in original equipment management system. By working with an equipment provider of Internet of things to develop a set of intelligent equipment of Internet of things, the equipment uses SMS mode which integrated functions of equipment failure to declare and purchasing approval, through the Socket and port communication mode to realize data interaction.Finally, the paper designs several functional modules of equipment management system for the discrete manufacturing enterprises based Internet of things and mobile technology, mainly studied how to achieve the optimization of existing business process According to the system design, based on MyEclipse platform, adopt MVC development model to achieve system implementation.
