Green carbon sink is an important way to mitigate the environmental stress and reduce the amount of carbon dioxide in the air. But there are some problems during the spread of green carbon sinks, such as low degree of awareness, lack of expertise, not high degree of media attention.It is imperative to strengthen the communication of the green carbon sink.In this paper, the concept of green carbon sink has been defined, and the delivering content has been made clear. Then combined the theory of communication and journalism, analyzed the subject, audience, media of green carbon. In addition, this paper analyzed the spread status of green carbon sink. The spread status includes increasing transmission way with low participation, companies involved in extensive with less personal participation, more policy with less vivid stories, professional books with low accept degree. In particular, less number;lack of continuity;lack of sociality and interesting; lack of features in reports. Reports appeared some problems such as lack of scientific knowledge, not in-depth interview, hype the news and so on. Finally, put forward some feasible suggestions such as strengthen the function of government leading, supervision and inspection;give full play to the role of the media; rich communication style; enhance the contents and the closeness of the public.This study enriched the related research about the spread of green carbon sink areas. It also provided a new perspective for popularization of the green carbon sink in new media environment. From the perspective of green carbon sink spread the ecological concept of sustainable development, which encourage public participation in environmental protection action. It is a great significance for the protection of the environment.
