The Design And Implementation Of Wacko Process System Based On SAS

eBay is the world’s largest international e-commerce platform. Malicious transactions, fraudulent transactions and false trading which are called wackos often occur in trade. The identification, transaction data processing, financial processing of thoes three conditions are very important. Therefore, an electronic system to support the entire treatment processes is needed in the company. The requirements of this system are as follows:1)get data from multi-source heterogeneous databases.2)identify wackos. 3)transaction data processing, financial processing.4)show results in the form of statistic reports. Thus, the system should have functions like data management, data statistic and analysis, two-way multi-source heterogeneous database access, statistic report generation, etc.However, the software or technique that fits all thoes requirements can hardly be found in the market. SAS which integrated powerful functions like data source management, statistic and analysis, graphic report and programming support perfectly meets the functional requirements of this system.In this article, I design and realize the main flow used for identifying wackos and processed data in the wacko processing system, including data ETL based on SAS system, identifying wackos, processing transactions data, processing accounts information related to these transactions, generating statistical reports and so on. And I also design and realize the function for validating results which have been processed in the main flow. Besides, we design and realize an all-covered algorithm, which can identify the wacko transactions separately at item level and account level. The whole establishing process and functions in the wacko processing system are based on SAS system.The wacko processing system mentioned in this article has been used in eBay China Development Center. It was proven that the system has a high accuracy and significantly improves the efficency of processing wackos.
