Research Of Embedded Convergent Network Platform And Management Software Based On SoPC

Embedded network system is widely used. It plays extremely important role in industrial control, medical, transportation, aviation and other fields.Ethernet which uses in the embedded platform based on SoPC has huge advantages on universality. But because of the disadvantage of instability-latency and high protocol overhead, there are troubles on updating the embedded platform’s transmission speed and per-formance. Fibre Channel (FC) network has advantages on latency and efficiency. Therefore, the new Platform which Embedded Platform converges Fibre Channel module has high engineering application value.The main goal of this paper is to research embedded convergent network plat-form and management software based on SoPC.First of all, it researches the conver-gence of Fiber Channel and TCP/IP protocol, deciding the convergent layer. Second-ly, it realizes the data transmission software interface of Fiber Channel and Ethernet, completing convergent network platform’s underlying data transmission channel. Thirdly, for managing the convergent network and improving calculating efficien-cy, this paper realizes the network management module and heterogeneous dual-core calculation module. At last, it all completes the embedded convergent net-work platform and management software based on SoPC and strictly tests all the functions and performance of the system.According to the result of the test, it verifies that the transmission speed of con-vergent network platform is more than six times higher to the platform which uses Gigabit Ethernet; Protocol conversion module, security certificate, news management module and dual-core calculation module’ test result reaches expected goals. There-fore the embedded convergent network platform and management software based on SoPC has good reference value for the complex embedded system’s converge network and performance improvement.
