With the extension and application of the intelligent manufacturing and smart factory, intelligent monitoring has become a trend in today’s industry monitoring. Monitoring system based on Internet of Things(IOT) has become an important technology in the construction of industrial monitoring system. Combined with the development tend of industrial control system and the IOT technology?in order to improve the automation and reliability of the monitoring for manganese-rich slag production, the author studied the real-time monitoring system for manganese-rich slag production based on IOT.The author analyzed the production process, technical characteristics, equipment condition and the production environment safety situations of production process monitoring and production environmental safety status monitoring, developed the construction plan for real-time monitoring system for manganese-rich slag production based on IOT. It established the three-tier architecture of real-time monitoring system for manganese-rich slag production based on IOT, which composed by information collection subsystem, information transmission subsystem and the monitoring center. Using field instrument, Ethernet data acquisition modules JPC and other auxiliary equipment to build the hard ware platform. The software function, structure and composition of the real-time monitoring system was in-depth studied. The system software was developed by King SCADA, SQL Server 2005 and video surveillance software. The author focuses on the implementation of security status information fusion for manganese-rich slag production, establish the safety information fusion model, and study the security state information fusion algorithm based on D-S evidence theory and the assist determination method for security status based on fire smoke video feature. And then?the model and algorithm were simulated and analyzed. The results show that the model and algorithm is applicable to manganese-rich slag production safety status monitoring.System operation showed that the real-time monitoring system for manganese-rich slag based on IOT is running well, and fully meet the demand for real-time, accuracy and reliability, and realized the production safety status monitoring and early warning accurately. It improved the automatic and safety level of the manganese-rich slag production monitoring. The system was already put into operation, and it provides an important reference for the promotion and application of IOT in the field of surveillance and monitoring, and it has important practical significance and very high promotion value.
