With the development of the science and technology, the universal application of the advanced manufacturing technology, 3D CAD software, the first generation geometrical product specification of geometry based on the theory of GPS is more and more cannot meet the requirements of production and design. Therefore, metrology is based on a new generation of GPS is produced based on the. Geometric tolerance is an important part of a new generation of GPS system, it is very important for the product quality evaluation and model design. However, the existing CAD software in the aspects of product geometric tolerance design will not be able to meet the new generation GPS standard system, at the same time, in the sharing of tolerance information also cannot meet the production needs of digital design. Therefore, the research for product model, a new generation of geometric tolerance design based on GPS is an urgent problem to be solved.Based on a new generation of GPS in-depth and meticulous, this study research on geometric tolerance design of products. The main research contents are as follows:(1)The overall idea and design scheme of a new generation of geometric tolerance design system based on GPS is proposed, the related basic theory and key technology, the geometrical tolerances are: a new generation of digital modeling, Creo two, Windows CE development technology of embedded technology and database Access technology etc.(2)Study the geometric tolerance design for CAD model, the 3D part model, using two Creo/TOOLKIT developed with Creo platform seamlessly integrated design system, feature extraction part model constraints, the size of information, as well as the choice of geometric tolerance item, finally using the traditional geometric tolerance design work experience component model the complete method.(3)Study the geometric tolerance design for CAD assembly model, 3D assembly model, calculated to complete its geometric tolerance design using the size chain, through the feature extraction and dimension model of information extraction, and the sealing ring, the determination and selection of the ring, ring the changes of judgment, the final computational geometry the value of tolerance model.(4)Research on geometric tolerance design for non CAD model, using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010(VS2010) as the development platform, using Windows CE embedded technology and database technology to develop a geometric tolerance design of application system of new generation based on GPS. Through the establishment of the database, the geometric tolerance optimization of man-machine interface and other methods to complete the geometric tolerance design CAD model.(5)Based on the above study, this thesis gives geometric tolerance design examples for General parts, typical parts, and it also gives geometric tolerance design examples based on dimension chain for the T-shaped slide block and card slot assembly. The results show that the designed system is simple and beautiful, the user can fast and convenient finished product geometric tolerances of the query, design and dimensioning and the system greatly promotes the sharing of geometric tolerance of digital design and tolerance information.
