| Internet rumors can not only lead to public emergencies, but also affect thenormal solving of public emergencies. The harm of internet rumors can not beunderestimated. Recently the state has adopted a series of public emergencyinformation management requirements. What kind of Internet rumors can affect thebehavior of netizens and thus have an impact on the development of publicemergencies? This issue is one of the key issues of governance Internet rumors.In the system of Symbol Convergency Theory, group behavior occurs because ofthe formation of groups of public rhetoric illusion. And the formation of rhetoricalillusion depends on the frame of the three themes of scenes, characters, behavior andmechanisms of regulation rationalization.Based on the theory, this study selects some internet rumors related to somepublic emergencies which occurred through the year of2012and2013. By analyzingthe rumor texts, this study extracts all the theme features of scenes, characters andactions of Internet rumors which can constitute a collectively rhetorical illusion. Andthen the study summaries the theme features of Internet rumor texts in accordance withthe four different types of public emergency network rumors of natural disasters,accidents and disasters, public health emergencies and social security incident.The study found rumor text rendered in fantasy-themed setting out certaincommon features: digging for the truth, emphasis on the details and focus on sourcesof information. In addition to common features, every public emergencies related torumors also has its own focus on themes of scenes, characters, and behavior. The mainbase of the formation of these focus is the different needs of netizens for each type ofevent. The conclusion of this study can narrow range of rumor text and thus providesupport for public emergency network rumors governance.it can also improve theaccuracy and efficiency of the government when dealing with the Internet rumorsduring public emergencies. |
