With the continuous development of The Time, the power industry has gained greatprogress. It is important to conduct on-line monitoring and security forewarning for thehigh voltage oil-immersed electrical equipment, so as to detect faults and take measuresto eliminate hidden dangers timely. Infrared technology has been widely used as aneffective fault diagnosis method. we can solve the problem of Infrared technologyobtaining the internal heating part parameters, with Theoretical analysis and calculationfind out relationship between oil-immersed high voltage electrical equipment surfacetemperature parameters and heat source temperature parameters to improve the faultmonitoring level of the high voltage oil-immersed electrical equipment, which is of greatsignificance to the safe operation of power grid.Infrared thermal imaging equipment is unable to diagnose internal heat defect, whileheat loss from source is the main reason to cause the heat defect of high voltage electricalequipment. Then, the outline of hot road analog circuits are raised, in which the complexheat relationship within the high voltage electrical equipment is equivalent to thermalcircuit model. the relation between high voltage electrical equipment outside surfacethermal parameters and heat source parameters can be obtained. We can diagnosis highvoltage electrical equipment heat defect, especially oil level of oil filled high voltageelectrical equipment, through comparing and analysis infrared image from infraredthermal imaging equipment and the high voltage electrical equipment surface thermalparameters from theoretical analysis.As infrared thermal imaging equipment can only detect infrared electromagneticwave from the surface, non-electric class electric simulation method is proposed. It isapplied to high voltage electrical equipment internal heat process, through simulationanalysis of current field and heat flow field mathematical model. The feasibility ofthermal road analog circuit was proved the simulation experiment of high voltage electrical equipment thermal process. It can be confirmed that there is a certainproportion relationship between electrical equipment surface temperature and the heatsource temperature parameters, so as to be used to diagnosis high voltage electricalequipment thermal failure, especially the high voltage oil-immersed electrical equipment.
