As the conical rotor motors can self-retention when the power is cut, it is widely usedin hoisting equipment. This paper is based on a cooperation project with the Nanjing XinYuan Electrical Co., Ltd. The purpose is to realize digital error measurement of the innercone of the conical rotor motor’s stator.According to the practical requirements of measurement of the inner cone of theconical rotor motor’s stator, with the main line of the inner cone error measurement andevaluation method, based on the relevant provisions of the state standards and industrystandards, combined with internal and overseas research achievements, this paper putforward the method to measure the inner cone by using laser displacement sensor. Basedon this method, I conducted a series of research such as the overall design, mechanicalstructure design, taper error evaluation and algorithm, error analysis and simulation.This paper firstly introduces the source of the subject, the purpose and significance ofthe research, the current research of related technology at home and abroad, as well as thecontent and organizational structure of this paper.Then, starting from the relevant provisions of the cone and cone tolerance of nationalstandards, this paper lists the current commonly used taper measuring method, introducesthe basic principle and the implement method of the inner cone laser measurement.Combined with the project practice, I conducted the overall design of the inner cone lasermeasurement system. Then I determined the overall structure scheme of measuring headrotary, designed the mechanical structure of parts, also the selection of electriccomponents were calculated and analyzed in detail.After the analysis of two kinds of current conical degree evaluation model, this paperproposes an efficient approximation algorithm based on the least square coning errorevaluation model, and the application of various optimization algorithms in the field oferror evaluation of the cone also were introduced. The main error theory of this system isanalyzed, the method of error separation and compensation are studied, and a preliminaryexploration of related error model and calculation method is conducted. Simulationresearches on the approximation algorithm which is proposed in this paper is conducted,and the key parts are analyzed by finite element analysis.Finally, this paper summarizes the current research findings of the inner cone lasermeasurement system, and the expand application scope and follow-up work is discussed.
